Yamaha YDP105 Review
We have rated the YDP-105 a 7.5. While this may sound a tad low, let us tell you our thoughts on this solid console piano. The YDP105 suits its target audience quite well. That being said, we took off some points because of the smaller soundbank, lack of a recorder, and lack of updates since the YDP103 model. Don’t get us wrong, this is a great piano! However, we think you can get a bit more bang for your buck with YDP-145 or S35 models, for just one to two hundred dollars more.

Comparable Models
- Yamaha YDP-145
- Yamaha YDP-S35
The YDP-145 is another great digital console piano. It has a slightly higher price tag than the YDP105, but, on the other hand, has a lot more polyphony and song presets.Â
The YDP-S35 is another great option and is about $100 less than the YDP-145. The YDP-S35 also has more polyphony, and factory presets. A big pro to upgrading to the 145 or S35 models is that there is recording and playback onboard.Â
